Veggies Watercolor Paintings

I like to stop once in awhile to do some very basic watercolor studies of veggies.  They help remind me to keep my paintings loose and simple. They are perfect for watercolor students.  Simple shapes, bold colors - a perfect exercise.

I love the veggies. I hope you don't mind but I do try to learn from you. I am going to have a go at the veggies........they wont be as good as yours, you seem so capable of manipulating the colour to just the right spots.

Hi Janice, yes! Please do try the veggies. You can copy mine, too, if you'd like to. Whenever I see a technique or treatment that I like, I don't hesitate to see if I can duplicate it. I think that's a great exercise.

Lovely Paintings! I would love to paint vibrantly like this. My watercolors turn out muddy sometimes. Thanks for your post RoseAnn.

Looking at your watercolors I had to sit back in my chair and just sigh because they are so well done. I say to myself "If only".
