Pink Tulips in Old White Pitcher

Pink Tulips in Old White Ironstone Pitcher
Painted from a beautiful batch of tulips
given to me by my beautiful daughter Kelley
and her wonderful fiancé Tony.
Plopped into one of my lovely old white
ironstone pitchers.  A perfect combination.
Painted on Fabriano 140# CP watercolor paper
using mostly Winsor and Newton artist's paints,
using my favorite soft pink and green shabby chic color palette.

Pastel Roses Watercolor Painting

Watercolor Roses
Experimenting with roses.  I find them a very difficult
flower to paint, so I'm always trying a new approach.

Sunflowers in Glass

Sunflowers
Painted in watercolor on Fabriano cold-pressed watercolor paper,
using Winsor & Newton, Sennelier and Grumbacher paints.
We're finally warming up here in Texas Hill Country.
The bluebonnets are just arriving along the roadsides, and as soon as
it gets really hot, the wild sunflowers will start to sprout.
So happy to see the end of the freezing temperatures.
