Texas Bluebonnets in Glass Jar Watercolor Painting

Texas Bluebonnets in Glass Jar

I never, ever get tired of painting Texas Bluebonnets.  I especially like to see them
in a casual country bouquet in an old glass jar.
They are not easy to grow in a garden.  I finally had one this year, and I
sure hope it comes back next year.
This original watercolor is in my Etsy shop.
Thank You for looking!

Red Tulips in Vintage Creamer Watercolor Painting

Red Tulips in Vintage Creamer

I have a small collection of vintage creamers.  There's something about the smaller size
that appeals to me.  I like to think about the ladies who may have used them in
their tea parties many years ago, or maybe the fancy restaurants that used them years
ago.  They are perfect for small casual bouquets of flowers, fresh from the garden.
This was a painting I did a few years ago, but I have prints available in
my Etsy shop.  Thank You so much for visiting my blog!

Hydrangeas Watercolor Painting

Hydrangeas
Another flower that is difficult to grow, but fun to paint.  A friend of mine
used to have so many of these growing all around her home,
and she could control the color with different types of plant food.
I could hardly believe it!
I wouldn't even attempt that; I'm satisfied just to paint them.
